The 7 best performing players from the qualifiers will advance to the final. ‘Best Performing’ will include anyone who tops a qualifier board (provided we have max 7 boards, we may rework these rules if we get more) with any additional slots filled by GM choice based on their performance in the qualifiers. The qualifying round will begin at . Games will run to 1910, with 15min turn timers up until the end of 1905 and 10min turn timers thereafter. We expect games to take about 5 hours. There will then be an hour or so break before the Final begins, with the same format. This tournament is open to players of any experience level, so if you’d like to play, you’re more than welcome to join regardless of whether or not you’ve played a tournament before!
